Don’t settle for a mediocre vacation, add one of these fun and exciting Pigeon Forge family activities to your travel itinerary, and you will be well on your way to planning your most memorable trip ever! From putt-putt to roller coasters, there is something for everyone on this list.
1. Race Go Karts
Remember those times when your mom told you not to speed? Well, you can forget those warnings when you get behind the wheel at one of the many go-kart tracks in Pigeon Forge. Not only are you allowed to go fast, you are encouraged to! Besides, how else are you going to beat your friends and family to the finish line if you don’t speed a little and take a tight turn or two?
In addition to being a fun way to compete with your loved ones, go kart racing is one of our favorite Pigeon Forge family activities because it is good for kids of nearly all ages. If your children are too young to drive their own kart, they can always join you in your vehicle and cheer you on as you race.
A few of our favorite go-kart tracks in Pigeon Forge include:
- The Track: 2575 Parkway
- Xtreme Racing Center: 3144 Parkway
- Speed Zone Fun Park: 3315 S. River Road

2. Play Putt-Putt
If you want something a little more slow-paced than go-kart racing, why not head over to one of the many putt-putt courses found in Pigeon Forge. Your family will have a blast taking on these miniature championship courses!
The best part is that the rules for putt-putt are a lot more laid back than traditional golf. Here, you don’t have to worry so much about losing a ball in a hazard or slicing your driver, you are more concerned with how to reach the hole when it is blocked by a swinging rope or wooden wall. To us, that sounds like a much more fun challenge!
Our favorite local putt-putt courses are:
- Ripley’s Old MacDonald’s Farm Mini-Golf: 1639 Parkway
- Firehouse Golf: 2528 Parkway
- Lost Treasure Golf: 3010 Parkway
