1. Hollywood Wax Museum
Now, we think this museum may be more for fun than anything else! You can see a variety of characters from Spock to Forrest Gump. This fun museum will let you see your favorite movie characters and some of your favorite stars as well! Each is found in one of their most iconic scenes, like Gump’s famous bus bench scene and Spock standing on the bridge of the Enterprise. This will definitely be an attraction you shouldn’t miss if you’re a huge movie fan! The best part is that you’re allowed to take pictures! So pose with the Godfather or Alien, it’ll make a great story! Click here for Hollywood Wax Museum ticket prices.
2. Titanic Museum
This museum is totally history based, and it’s one of the only museums like it! The sinking of the Titanic was a tragedy at the time, and you can get a glimpse of what it would have been like to stay on the ship from many different perspectives. The audio tour is a nice touch because it provides more information and some interviews from survivors of the Titanic. There are also some kid friendly things to do, like quizzes that test their knowledge of the Titanic and their own audio tour that makes the information easier to understand. You also receive a boarding pass when you first enter, and at the end of the museum you can check on the wall to see if you were a survivor. A must visit for any history buff! 3. Alcatraz East Crime Museum
Admit it, you have a secret favorite crime show like Criminal Minds or NCIS. This Pigeon Forge museum is newest on our list, and has a variety of exhibits from medieval times to present day. There is an area dedicated to crime scene investigation, with a nice display about Dr. Bass and his books, which you may have read! There are also exhibits about the mob and known outlaws like Bonnie and Clyde. There’s even a section about pirates! This is a large museum, and will most certainly take some time to see all of it, so make sure you plan accordingly! Click here to buy tickets to the Alcatraz East Crime Museum.
