The Old Mill and Little Pigeon RiverThe mill that stands at the Old Mill was built in 1830. Millers still use it today to grind grain into flour with large stones by using hydropower from the river. If anyone in your family loves sweets, you have to go to the Candy Kitchen and watch the candy makers pull taffy, mold chocolate, dip apples, and more. At Pigeon River Pottery, you’ll find all kinds of handmade pieces, from mugs to plates to wine tumblers. 2. Check Out Patriot Park

After you visit the Old Mill, head next door to Patriot Park for a picnic or to walk around and enjoy being outside. This park is dedicated to all the veterans from Sevier County. Along the 0.5-mile walking trail, you will see flags from all 50 states and all the armed forces. A gazebo and a pavilion are along the track so you can stop and sit for a minute.
